The Cossack is one of the unique units in Civilization VI. The Cossack unit belongs to the Russians.
Description
Cossacks are stronger than the Cavalry they replace and can move after they attack.
History
Cossack infantry were multi-talented units that served as guards, guides, soldiers, and explorers when needed. Russian Cossacks were integral during Napoleon's Invasion of Russia, garnering high praise from the adversarial Napoleon himself. These light infantry were mounted and armed with sabers and long spears, and would often utilize an early form of guerilla warfare to disrupt supply chains and communications.
